When you commission us to create a web site, we first discuss with you the aim of your website (e.g. providing information, selling a product or range of products, etc.). We will ask a series of questions and keep the answers in mind throughout the design process. Questions like:

  • What is the focus of your business?
  • Who is your target audience?
  • What search terms might they use?
  • What colour scheme would you like?
  • Where would you like the navigation bar?
  • Do you want buttons, or plain text links to different pages on your site?
  • If you can provide images or would like us to design illustrations or a logo for you.
  • How many pages you would like the site to have.

We believe quality content is as important as search engine placement.  We call it Design Optimization, because the look and the feel of your site is as crucial to holding your clients interest as SEO is to attracting them. That is why we will ensure that text and images quickly hook the reader's attention, are interesting and informative and that the website is attractively presented and easy to navigate. Please see sample websites for a range of our work.

If you already have an existing website then the process is similar, except that we will discuss which parts of the website you would like to keep, which you want to change and which need changing in order to allow search engines to find it. If search engines can find it and rank it highly, your clients will also be able to find it.
