For every new website we create or promote we will submit it as standard to 50 or so different search engines in a process that simulates a manual submission. We use 3 different Titles and Descriptions for your website in this process, so that there is a variety of linking texts. We also offer Search Engine Submission free with any other SEO package.
The search engines we submit to will depend on your location and the language of the website. If for instance, your website is in the UK we would submit it to Google.com and Google.co.uk, but we wouldn't submit it to Google.fr (the French version), as that might be considered spamming - and Google share information across all of their search engines anyway.
The most successful search engines will keep indexing and updating your site indefinitely, therefore there is no need to keep resubmitting your site to search engines like Google and Yahoo - once your site is included in the results, it will stay there.
